Roku does not charge any fees to create a Roku Account.

  3. Tap Register a free account
  4. Enter the required details and click Submit.

Register for an account on The Roku Channel’s or Photo Streams’ website

You can sign in to an existing Roku account, or create a brand new Roku account by visiting the website for The Roku Channel and Photo Streams. You can sign into your account to sync your watch history across all of your devices. You can also use Photo Streams to upload and collaborate on digital albums.

Select Create a Roku account in the pop-up banner. If there is no banner, follow the steps below to create an account.

    1. Open a web browser to visit the correct website
    2. Choose the user icon from your navigation bar
    3. Select to create an account and fill in your details

Register for an account using your Samsung TV

Follow these steps to create your account using The Roku Channel app for a Samsung TV:

    1. Add The Roku Channel to a compatible Samsung Smart TV if it is not already installed
    2. Start The Roku Channel, and then use your Samsung remote control to navigate to the Resources row.

    1. Select Create an Free Roku account
    2. You can choose to receive the sign in link via message or email. Follow the on-screen instructions.
      1. For a text message or an email from Roku, check your phone. You should also check your junk or spam folders if you have requested email.
      2. You can click or tap on the sign-in link in the message. You will be taken to the account creation page via a web browser.
      3. Enter the required details and click Submit.

After you have created your Roku account, you’ll automatically be signed into The Roku Channel via the web browser. After a while, you’ll also be signed into your Samsung TV.
